Here's a little info about me!

I was born in Wichita, KS. and grew up in Valley Center for my elementary thru high school years.  I then attended Emporia State University for my undergraduate degree.  My first teaching job was in the Flinthills district where I taught Kindergarten for 8 years. I then moved up to 3rd grade for 2 years. During my final year there, I got married to my wonderful husband,Dave, and decided to get a teaching job closer to our home in Wichita. That is when I came to Andover Public Schools.  I have been teaching 4th grade here at Sunflower until this year, when I decided it was time for a change.  So, this is my first year teaching 2nd grade.  I also received my Master's degree from WSU in May of 2008.

I have a wonderful step-daughter, Erin, who lives in Brighton, UK.  I also have an awesome daughter, Jenna, who is a Sophomore at ACHS. We have a pet dog, Mollie.

I love my job, shopping, music, and movies. I love mexican food, chocolate chip cookies, peanut M&Ms, and Diet Coke.
