This week in Mrs. Lambertz class:
Reading/Grammar/Writing
This week’s story: We will not be doing a story from our basal this week. Instead we will be doing some activities working on our reading skills and Kansas activities. We will be starting another story next week.
In Writing, we will begin doing some creative writing.
Mathematics
In Math this week, we will continue working in Unit 6 which includes the concept of division. We are taking this unit nice and easy because long division is one of the hardest concepts we’ll face this year. We will not be doing every lesson in this Unit as some of the lessons do not need to be covered prior to State Assessments.
Lesson 6.8
Rectangular Coordinate Grids for Maps
Lesson 6.9
Latitude and Longitude
We will be testing over Unit 6 on Thursday, Jan. 27th.
